Podcast & Pause: An Unbook Club for Black Educators

Podcast and Pause is back! Podcast & Pause is a restorative listening circle for Black educators who are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and engage in community-centered wellness through story. Each session blends guided listening from The Exit Interview: A Podcast for Black Educators with reflection, journaling, breathwork, and gentle conversation.

This spring cycle invites educators to make space for themselves—away from urgency, pressure, and the constant demand to care for everyone else first. Together, we explore themes of resilience, rest, racial battle fatigue, identity, and joy, while grounding ourselves in story, community wisdom, and collective healing.

What to Expect

  • 6 weekly sessions on Mondays 6:00pm-7:30pm MST

  • 90-minute virtual gatherings

  • Reflection guides, journaling prompts, and gentle grounding practices

  • A community of Black educators committed to rest, reflection, and liberation

Podcast & Pause is perfect for educators seeking a wellness space that feels grounded, intimate, and culturally responsive—where your lived experience is honored and your voice matters.

Registration starts in January!
