In collaboration with Awakening Coffee and Universal Connections Consulting, Liberated Educators Lab is launching its first Melanated Book Exchange. This is a space for folks of Color to bring a book for and about people of Color and receive two books for and about people for free!

Dr. Asia Lyons has been selected as a Mentor for SXSW EDU 2026, where she will support educators, leaders, and innovators seeking guidance on storytelling, wellness, and justice-centered research. As a longtime advocate for Black educator wellbeing and archival justice, Dr. Lyons brings a unique blend of scholarship, lived experience, and community-rooted practice to her mentoring sessions.
